Not yet—but we are actively building toward it.
Audrey’s House is currently in a foundational growth phase, focused on fundraising, partnerships, and infrastructure. Our goal is to acquire our first property in rural Middle Tennessee and launch our initial sanctuary model with intention and excellence.
This is not a rushed process—we are building something sustainable, safe, and transformative from the ground up.
Our target is to secure and begin developing our first property by late 2026.
From there, we will renovate, furnish, and thoughtfully launch our first phase of programming. Every step is being taken with care to ensure that what we create truly reflects the level of healing, safety, and restoration our community deserves.
We are not waiting—we are already doing the work.
Audrey’s House is actively creating impact through:
We are building the ecosystem of Audrey’s House now—so that our physical space becomes a natural extension of what already exists.
We serve survivors of domestic violence and trauma, along with their children.
Our focus is on those who are ready to move beyond survival and into true healing—individuals seeking restoration of their mind, body, soul, and spirit.
Audrey’s House is not an emergency shelter—it is a bridge to long-term healing.
While many shelters provide critical short-term safety, Audrey’s House is designed to address what comes next:
Our model is trauma-informed, holistic, and rooted in creating lasting transformation—not just temporary relief
Our programming is built around whole-person healing and includes:
We will also partner with therapists, wellness practitioners, and organizations to bring diverse, high-quality programming into the space
Audrey’s House is led by Founder Deborah LaNier and a dedicated board of trauma-informed advocates—several of whom are survivors themselves.
We lead with compassion, lived experience, professional expertise, and an unwavering commitment to creating safe, restorative spaces.
There are many ways to be part of this movement:
Every contribution—big or small—helps bring Audrey’s House to life.
While our physical sanctuary is in development, we are committed to connecting individuals with support immediately.
Through our partnerships and resource directory, we can help guide survivors to trusted services, organizations, and healing opportunities available now.
This is bigger than one location.
Audrey’s House is building toward a multi-acre healing campus and, ultimately, expansion into communities across the country—creating safe, restorative environments where healing is not only possible, but inevitable.
We are not just creating a place—we are building a new standard for healing.
We are building Audrey’s House with intention, integrity, and purpose.
What we are creating is not temporary—it is transformative.
